Uninterruptible Power Supply Introduction

UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) is a power supply system with a built-in energy storage device, which is mainly used to provide continuous power supply guarantee for equipment with high requirements for power supply stability.
How it works

●When the mains power is normal:The UPS regulates the mains electricity and supplies the stabilized AC power to the load, while charging the internal battery to achieve efficient conversion of electrical energy and chemical energy.
●When the mains power is interrupted:Once the mains power is abnormal or cut off, the UPS will immediately start battery power supply and convert DC power into 220V AC power through the inverter to ensure the continuous and stable operation of the load equipment and protect the software and hardware equipment from voltage fluctuations.
In addition, UPS devices are usually equipped with overvoltage and undervoltage protection functions to further ensure power supply safety.

Battery

The battery is a device used by UPS to store electrical energy. It is composed of several batteries connected in series, and its capacity determines the time it can maintain discharge (power supply). Its main functions are: 1. When the mains power is normal, it converts electrical energy into chemical energy and stores it inside the battery. 2. When the mains power is off, it converts chemical energy into electrical energy and provides it to the inverter or load.

Battery Installation

The most widely used lead-acid maintenance-free battery is currently used, and its main components are lead and sulfuric acid. This type of battery has excellent sealing performance and does not require the addition of water or acid during use, so it has a high cost-effectiveness and is widely used in UPS systems.
